Fredrik Eiffe will join RASLab as RAS Operator filling the role left with a departure of Ola Frøvik who leaves us to manage the land-based salmon farm at Nordic Aqua (Ningbo) Co. Ltd. in China.  Fredrik has a Bachelors from NTNU in Ålesund comes from his current position at Atlantic Saphire in Denmark and joins the team with experience from flow-through salmon farming as well as smolt production in commercial land-based farming in RAS.  Fredrik will start with RASLab in June.

Dr. Melanie Andrews joins RASLab in project operations.  Melanie joins us from NMBU and Aquamedic where she has been working on various sealice-based projects.  Melanie is very enthusiastic to work in diverse project areas and has a wide international experience in parasitology and fish health sciences having worked with salmonids and tuna in South Africa, Japan, and Australia where she gained her PhD at the University of Tasmania.  Melanie will provide significant project support to activities in RASLab and starts in August.
